Cyprus Film Days: The Festival, which is the official feature film festival of Cyprus, aspires to become a meeting point for cinema professionals from the three continents surrounding the island of Cyprus. The Ballet Festival: The festival, organized by the Municipality of Limassol at the atmospheric Municipal Garden Theatre, is considered to be among the most important artistic events in Cyprus.  “Kataklysmos” Festival of the Flood: A Greek Orthodox festival with strong pagan roots focusing primarily on water, Kataklysmos or Festival of the Flood, marks the day of the Holy Spirit. Limassol Wine Festival: Celebrating Cypriot winemaking tradition dating back 4000 years, this popular festival is the perfect opportunity to sample the products of the island’s finest wineries. Zivania Festival: The villages of Alona and Pelendri host the annual Zivania festival, an event which aims to promote Cypriot products, support viticulture and encourage tourism to rural areas.
